Turning Fish Welcome Circle Rustic Metal Cabin Welcome Sign

From $48.00

Every lake has that one spot along the reeds where the big ones feed at dusk. The water goes still, a ring spreads out from the cattails, and then a fish turns hard on the surface, flashing its side before it dives again. This welcome circle freezes that split second: a heavy-bodied fish arching up out of the water, jaws open and dorsal fin bristling, with reeds and a cattail rising beside it and WELCOME spelled out underneath. Each 11.75-inch disc of metal is shaped by hand, leaving a broad open window around the fish where the paint behind it shows through like still water at sundown. Its hammered black surface, faintly grained, keeps every fin and reed blade sharp against pale paint. Mount it with small nails, double-sided tape, velcro, or magnets. It belongs beside the door of a cottage on the water, on a cabin porch post, at the gate of a fishing camp, over the hooks where waders hang to dry, or in the corner of the garage where the nets are stored. Rustic wall decor that says the welcome mat is out, and a good gift for a bass chaser, a new cabin owner, or the relative who never misses opening day on the lake.
