On the table
The drawing goes on the plasma table. The table cuts the steel — the deer, the roadrunner, the word. That's the piece.
Weld
What needs a weld
A hoop, a frame, a stand-off — we weld what needs it. A lot of the work is the cut. The rest gets a weld in the shop.
Finish
Paint or rust
Hammered black or natural rust first. Copper and a couple other finishes when that's the piece. Then it hangs.
