The Running Deer Oval keeps that heart-pounding second on the wall, showing a buck at full stretch with his rack held high, one hoof skimming a strip of tall grass. Every buck starts as a flat sheet of metal cut by hand, then takes one of two finishes: Hammered Black, an even, finely textured dark coat, or Rust Patina, a weathered blend of brown and olive gold. An open oval ring surrounds the running buck, the tip of one antler reaching up to touch the rim. It mounts with small nails, double-sided tape, velcro, or magnets.
